Tailspinning: become out of control
We know that creativity lies in the mystery of willfully giving up control and stepping or spinning into the unknown. In this wild and wooly writing group, we generate new work through evocative and unpredictable prompts. We spin tales from places of loss of control-- capturing the words that fly by, wielding them in and onto the page!
This is a writing group for writers of all types (prose, poetry, hybrid, etc. and those writers who don’t even identify as writers)who want to develop new creative pieces in a supportive collective environment. Each week participants do timed free-writing in response to prompts that they collectively created, which are chosen at random from a hat each week. There will be time given in each session for sharing such work for feedback (sighs and cries).
